Trash Hackers Collective

Trash Hackers Collective was started to explore the material and social properties of plastic through hands-on experimentation, research, and education.

We experimented with PLA & PP waste plastic primarily – melting, reforming, and extruding into new forms, so that it might be used again.

We researched the diversity & resilience of plastics, and the risks associated with its disposal and reprocessing.
